Generic data sources (not specific to renal)

Local data is available online at https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/ and shows cases graphically by regions and local authorities as a cumulative total over time (ie all cases not just cases for a particular time period). It also shows on a graph how the number of cases per week has changed over time, but doesn‚Äôt break this down by region. There is an accompanying file you can download (CSV file below map) which shows the number of cases each day for regions and local authorities, although it may not be that easy to find your way around unless you are familiar with working with Excel spreadsheets. None of this information is specifically in people with kidney disease.

The Cambridge-based Winton Centre for Risk and Evidence Communication carries some of the best available data on current rates of COVID and also very useful comparative data about risks we live with every day such as the risk of a road traffic accident or death from influenza virus. https://wintoncentre.maths.cam.ac.uk/coronavirus/chart

In development : the OXFORD based individual risk assessment tool (which will work in a similar way the widely used Q cardiovascular score) is due to be available during September or October. It is likely to be the most accurate generic risk predictor to date so links will be added to this site once available. It is likely to be the tool used to guide re-shielding and vaccination prioritisation.
