Submissions from renal centres are via a portal, a link to which is sent out every quarter to the nominated person in the centre. Returns are due six weeks following the end of each quarter.
The data are collated and sent to a data handling company who analyse and publish on behalf of NHS England. They send a draft to each centre's clinical director for verification before publication.
