“It has been a fantastic privilege to be the Medical Clinical Vice President of the UKKA. It has given me the opportunity to contribute to and understand kidney policy at a national level and to work with other partners such as NHS England, the Royal College of Physicians, an extensive network of scientists and with our charity partners. I have been honoured to work with some amazing people both from within the UKKA itself and from the wider multi-professional and medical communities. It’s a steep learning curve but always in a highly supported environment. If you are looking for a new and exciting challenge, I would encourage you to consider applying!"

"I joined the UKKA as Clinical Vice President a continuum of the post I'd previously held within the BRS. This exciting multi-faceted role brings together various clinical committees and groups within the UKKA, ensuring the whole multi-professional team has access to opportunities to participate and contribute to the various work streams.

I have thoroughly enjoyed my two years in this role, influencing and supporting many clinically focused projects both within the UKKA and nationally. The UKKA is a supportive and welcoming organisation. You will be working alongside a group of like-minded healthcare professionals with a passion for person-centered kidney care.

This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop your leadership skills in an encouraging environment, whilst gaining knowledge of the workings of the wider kidney community and making some great connections."
