The below tools have been developed by the project team to support people to get started with MAGIC.
The elements of the MAGIC quality improvement project are leadership, measurement, staff education and patient awareness.
These elements are introduced through the four phases of MAGIC
The practicalities
-
-
The MAGIC logic model.
This depicts the relationship between your programme activities and their intended effects
-
The MAGIC driver diagram.
Driver diagrams are structured charts of three or more levels. They translate a high-level improvement goal/aim into a logical set of high-level factors (primary drivers) that you need to influence in order to achieve your goal. They also show the specific projects/activities that would act on these high-level factors’ (NHS Improvement).
