We are delighted that Dr Martin Christian (Nottingham) has volunteered to take over from Carol Inward as the Chair of clinical services on BAPN exec. Martin brings with him immense experience setting up the regional EMEESY network as well as serving as BAPN secretary previously.

We wish to thank Carol who has made huge contributions to the BAPN, most recently with the Workforce survey document which will be launch shortly at UK Kidney Week.

Recently during COVID, she has linked in with the Regional Nephrology Networks which were established by NHSE to provide mutual support and each unit should now be linked in. The Renal Services Transformation Plan (RSTP) is due to be launched soon. Carol has also worked with the clinical reference groups (CRG) to help plan recovery.
