Following an exceptionally busy couple of years, the UKKA will be refreshing the Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) Committee. It is essential there is a Committee fit for purpose for the new organisation to ensure that our house is in order, the scope of this committee will focus on the UKKA as an organisation and the work it is directly involved in.
We will be hosting an open meeting before seeking expressions of interest in the Committee.
The meeting is an informal way to hear more about:
- What is involved in the Committee
- Discuss areas of focus
- Highlight areas to improve

We understand that involvement in Committees can be a big ask and will be doing everything we can to support the Co-Chairs and Committee in this important and complex area. The Co-Chairs and Committee will be supported by one of the Presidents and Jen Barwell, the UKKA’s HR Manager. The Committee will be fully supported by the Secretariat and Communications Lead. The UKKA is finalising a leadership training programme to support established and emerging leaders which will launch soon and take place in early 2023 and would be available to members.
